Steve Williams has 40 years of experience in every aspect of construction management. In his current role as Vice President of Construction for The Graham Companies in Miami Lakes, FL, he oversees and directs all construction operations for the company’s residential and commercial divisions. Steve believes in leadership that supports excellence, prepares for adversity, and builds strong teams.
Williams began his career at a civil engineering firm on a survey crew. He progressed through the ranks as a field engineer, office engineer and all phases of project management roles. Steve has overseen projects as varied as renovations of all types, industrial/warehouses, hospitals, schools and multifamily, and municipal complexes. Prior to joining The Graham Companies, Williams served most recently as the Operations Executive for Clark/Facchina, where he oversaw the logistics, phasing, and scheduling of pre-construction and construction of the $500 million renovation and expansion of the Miami Beach Convention Center. In addition, he was the Regional Operation Manager with Facchina Construction of Florida responsible for the development of a multifamily division and construction of a $54 million, 417-unit rental community in Camp Springs, Md where he assisted in business development for the multifamily division over the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest regions.
A graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Williams has remained involved with both construction education and leadership training programs that span the states of Texas and Florida. He has been involved in many construction associations and was a founding member of the Construction Education Foundation in Texas. Steve has been in South Florida since 2004. Steve is a lifelong Cowboy’s fan, was a high school football official, and is an avid boater.
