Milagros “Milly” Garcia Chica, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer of The Graham Companies, Milly leads the company’s accounting and finance functions, as well as information technology and business systems. Reporting to the President, she oversees the company’s financial operations, reporting, and financial strategy, while also leading the technology and systems that support the company’s long-term objectives, risk management, and continued growth.
Milly joined The Graham Companies as Vice President of Accounting and Treasurer, bringing extensive experience in accounting, financial management, investments, and administration. Prior to joining The Graham Companies, she worked at Florida International University for nearly 19 years, serving the institution in various accounting and management roles. Her last position was as Assistant Vice President of the Florida International University Foundation, where she oversaw budgets, investments, accounting, and financial reporting.
Before her tenure at FIU, Milly worked for several years in the private sector as a tax preparer at a local public accounting firm and as an accounting manager for a closely held family business.
Milly earned both her bachelor’s degree in accounting and management and her Master of Science in Taxation from Florida International University. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA).
Milly is an avid baker who enjoys trying new dessert recipes and spending time with her family.
